  1. charging a client takes way too many steps

    The packages needs to be a lot more simple. It should be like a shopping cart and have the packages available to click on and be a shopping cart that you can take payments from. You should be able to go to a shopping cart and pull up a client and sell them a package right there.

      Would like to be able to send out a group text to cancel classes or remind a group of their class time change. Now we have to email the groups, and if it is a last minute change, it is easier as people always have their cell phones and are not always able to check their email.

        It would be useful if the customer's name could appear on the blast so that it feels more personal even if it is a mass emailing!

        • Easier way to create a family contact and membership

          When creating a new client and membership, we should be able to enter the primary member information and on the same screen, boxes for each additional member under that primary member. This way it is not necessary to "copy contact" for each person. Also, it will create the membership number for the primary as well as subsequent members associated with the primary member. For example, if the primary member is #10001, then the additional members would be #10001-1, 10001-2, 10001-3 and so on.                 We are looking at various ways to make online registrations faster and easier, especially when it comes to multiple registrations. We recently added the “Remember Form Fields” option in your Administration→Online Registration page, so that you can allow clients to have their contact info automatically filled in if they’re registering for more than one event at the same time.

              • Stop making the page reload 6 times when putting in a new client

                It really annoying and takes 15 minutes to put in a single person because of all of the reloading taking place ever new box i select/input.

                  Updating the interface to avoid all the extra pageloads is at the top of our priority list. The changes to the interface which were released in August were the just first stage, which brought many necessary “Behind the scenes” updates that will allow more streamlined functionality.

                  We’re going page by page, starting with the Admin and Reports pages, and redesigning the interface to be faster, more logical and more consistent throughout the entire system. Stay tuned as more updates are released!

                  • A waiting list for bookings and an email notification when openings become available

                    If a desired time slot for a client is unavailable but becomes available later in the day due to a cancellation, it would be ideal to have an email sent to the client asking them if they would like to confirm the time. They may put their desired times (anytime from 4PM to 6PM for example ) on that day on a "virtual waiting list". This would alleviate a trainer hearing "Gee, I wish I would of known of the opening. I would of booked an appointment" from clients.

                      I just spent 20 minutes rewriting our online signup description. When I clicked update I was taken to the login screen (presumably due to 'inactivity' as I had been writing rather than clicking things). I logged in and boom! all my writing had disappeared as it does not autosave. There is no need to log out so often even when there is some inactivity, let alone when I'm actually doing something.

                        It would be great to be able to print a paper schedule once it is set up on the EZ Facility. So I could hang it up on the gyms information board and be able to scan an email it, ect.

                          The best way to print out your schedule is to use the Training or Venue Booking reports in the Reports page.

                          Training Report: “Trainer/Venue Schedule”
                          Venue Report: “Venue Booking Report”

                          Both reports can be printed or exported for saving or emailing.

                        • Automatically email a customer who misses a session, or has not scanned in.

                          I would like to see an email being automatically generated and sent to a customer who has booked a session and has not turned up, or has avoided scanning in on arrival.

                            Staff who sign in are automatically logged off after 10 - 15 minutes. I would like to have the option of changing the length of time (either longer or shorter) for the auto log off.

                              Currently there is no way for the client to see the number of sessions or packages they have in the client portal.

                                    I think the guys at EZ should really make a dedicated effort to expand on the existing API docs that I've seen to date (which are just automated ClassDocs).

                                    Any web based business system worth it's salt has a well formed API which goes towards expanding the reach and power of EZ, freeing up in-house developers time on handling 100's of feature requests and giving 3rd party developers the ability to extract more value from EZ.

                                      I would like to have a past due invoice template created, that will generate a letter using the accounts receivable report information that we can print and mail to any client with a past due balance. I would like to have it tell how many days the amount is past due as well.

                                        In administration under contact preferences you can add custom fields and mark them as include in OLR or required in OLR. Many times we have custom fields that need to be added for a specific program and would like them to be required for that program. When checking the custom field to be required it is now required for every program a customer can register for.

                                        • Email should be sent to member who had a credit card decline.

                                          On a daily basis an email is sent to me listing credit card declines. An email should be sent to the customer to inform them that their credit card has declined. Email should be customizable by the facility to get progressively stern the more the card declines.
